On March 18 a seminar-training was held in Yerevan for community leaders, council of elders members, community servants and for other stakeholders.
41 representatives from RA regions took part in seminar-training.
The experts were
Zuzana Hudeková, Union of Towns and Cities of Slovakia,
KATALINKOLINSABJÁN, Hungarian National Association of Local Authorities (TÖOSZ)
The topics of the webinars were the following:
-Smart and Innovative cities, especially towards carbon neutral development
-Promoting the sustainable development of the communities
-Challenges we are facing in urban areas (climate change impact and resilience)
-Good examples and best practices
- Best practices of local governments in Visegrád countries and importance of decentralization.
The participants asked the experts questions on topics such as smart and innovative cities, sustainable urban development, challenges in urban areas, climate change, impact and resilience. During the seminar-training, the experts presented the best European experience.
The participants selected by the program by their high activity and initiative will pay a study visit to Poland in the second half of the year to study the local experience.
