The General Assembly of the Communities Association of Armenia took place in Yerevan

On February 24, 2017 the General Assembly of the Communities Association of Armenia took place in Tigran Mets Hall of Yerevan Marriott Hotel 

Meeting participants were greeted by newly re-elected President of Association, Mr Emin Yeritsyan as well as RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Mr. David Lokyan:
 
A welcoming message to the CAA General Assembly was also sent by Mrs. Gunn Marit Helgesen, Chair of Regional office the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. The General Assembly discussed the activities of the Association. The meeting announced the result of the "Best Community" competition and the awarding ceremony was held.
During the meeting, the election of the Audit Committee and the Republican Council were held.
 
The selected five members of the Audit Commission are:
 
Armen Movsisyan (Gladzor community, Vayots Dzor marz)
Norayr Tumanyan (Capni community, Syunik marz)
Hayk Hovhannisyan (Voskevaz community, Aragatsotn marz)
Gagik Sargsyan (Arinj Community, Kotayk Marz)
Arthur Aloyan (Ashotsk community, Shirak marz)
