Since December 15, 2016, the Communities Association of Armenia together with its partners carries out a "Commitment to Constructive Dialogue" project with the financial support of the European Union, which aims at developing capacities for CSOs, elaborating public policies in 9 areas, CSOs - Creating a dialogue between CSOs and local governments, as well as the construction and development of CSO coalitions.
Within the framework of the project, the Communities Association of Armenia will hold a focus group meeting on April 14, 2017 with the participation of civil society organizations working in the field of environmental protection / solid waste management, energy / energy efficiency, local self-governance and public / urban transport.
The main focus of the focus group meeting is to identify the CSOs' organizational capacities in the above-mentioned areas, as well as identify the most urgent issues for CSOs in their area.
The meeting of the Focus Group will be held On April 14, at 14:00 at the Picasso Hall of Best Western Congress Hotel in Yerevan. We are pleased to invite you to take part in this important meeting. About the "Commitment to Constructive Dialogue " program
The Communities Association of Armenia implements the "Commitment to Constructive Dialogue" program with its partners, the Armenian Lawyers Association NGO, the International Center for Human Development NGO, the Armenian Center for Democratic Education - SIVITAS NGO, "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Partnership of Cooperation "NGO, as well as with the" Agora Central Yurep "Czech NGO.
The program was launched on 15 December 2016 and is financed by the European Union. The project is targeted at enhancing the impact of CSOs on the development of public policies in CSOs, targets in 9 target areas, as well as capacity building of CSO networks and coalitions, identifying key issues in target areas and elaborating public policies (including through coalition grants).
The program also envisages a grant of EUR 870,000, which will be provided to NGOs involved in the project activities, targeted to address the challenges faced in the fields, as well as for the sustainability and institutional capacity building of NGOs.
