The Azerbaijani Side Refused All Its Proposals
On 12 September 2017 the Annual meeting of the Conference of Local and Regional Authorities of Eastern Partnership (CORLEAP) was held in Brussels. At the meeting the Azerbaijani side refused all its amendments and proposals on the text of recommendations addressed to the 5th Summit of Eastern Partnership.
Before that, Azerbaijani side proposed a number of written and oral amendments main context of which was inclusion of conflicts issues with pro-Azerbaijani orientation. During the meeting the voting on draft reccommendations was postponed till the end of day to hold discussions on that.
By the result of confidential negotiations the Armenian side managed to achieve that the Azerbaijani delegation refused all its proposals. At the end of the meeting, CORLEAP adopted its recommendations without Azerbaijani proposals.
